This is one of our vibrant Gulf Coast clinics, and we are looking to add a motivated clinician ASAP.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role, you will work alongside a CPO, as well as strong administrator and a BDM. This experienced team will help you support our diverse patient population that spans across all ages.</p>\n<p>Panama City is known for its white‑sand beaches, warm Gulf waters, and year‑round sunshine. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy boating, fishing, paddleboarding, and coastal parks, while the city also offers a growing arts scene, fresh Gulf seafood, and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. It’s a place where you can build a meaningful career and enjoy life outside the clinic.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Orthotic fitters provide independent patient care through the provision and adjustment of off the shelf and pre-fabricated orthoses, as defined by the ABC Scope of Practice.  The certified fitter can be privileged to work under indirect supervision** of a certified orthotist on projects of moderate complexity or of a custom nature. They monitor the patients over time and make any necessary changes to the devices to keep them in good condition.</p>\n<h2>Your Impact</h2>\n<p>Depending on the operational requirements, size of the Hanger Clinic and subject to limitations imposed by state and/or local law, this position may include some or all of the functions listed below. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Examine and evaluate patient's needs in relation to disease and functional loss. </li>\n <li>Perform independent patient care for devices within scope </li>\n <li>Evaluate orthotic device on patient, adjust to assure fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality of work. </li>\n <li>Instruct patient in use of orthotic devices. </li>\n <li>Identify and reconcile issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. </li>\n <li>Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records. </li>\n <li>Provide information to administrative staff to conduct reimbursement activities. </li>\n <li>Provide follow-up with patients and physicians. </li>\n <li>Provide in-service training to physicians and allied health care professionals. </li>\n <li>Provide assistance to other clinical staff. </li>\n <li>Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare, HIPAA and other governmental regulations; compliance with bloodborne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties or special projects as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required.
