Join us and design your place with Stantec.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n &nbsp;<br><strong>Your Opportunity</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The primary role of the Interior Designer is to work collaboratively with the Interior Design and Architectural team, conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of interior design of a project, including but not limited to functional programming, space planning, interior architecture, interior materials and palette, specifications and Furniture/Fixtures and Equipment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist&nbsp;with the development of proposals – layout, graphic&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Programming – refinement and edits&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Schematic Design – preliminary sketches, drawings, block planning&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Design Development – Assists in research of&nbsp;concept, benchmarks, typology, and precedents. Material research and material&nbsp;selections. Initial development of working drawings in AutoCAD&nbsp;and or&nbsp;Revit. Plans, elevations,&nbsp;millwork&nbsp;and details.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Contract Documents - working drawings: Plans, elevations,&nbsp;millwork&nbsp;and details as well as schedules.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Contract Administration – review of millwork shop drawings&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supports&nbsp;project&nbsp;team in the development of interior design documentation and presentation materials.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assists&nbsp;in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assists&nbsp;in material and furniture selections, space&nbsp;planning&nbsp;and communication with product representatives.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Your Capabilities and Credentials</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good understanding of Revit.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with the most recent design software (Sketch-up, Photoshop,&nbsp;InDesign&nbsp;and Illustrator, etc.) is preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively. To&nbsp;participate&nbsp;and collaborate in project team&nbsp;setting. To engage in creative and critical thought. To interpret sketches, drawings,&nbsp;program&nbsp;and other similar&nbsp;material. To communicate abstract ideas (verbal/written/graphic).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of lighting/fixtures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of&nbsp;client's&nbsp;expectations of deliverables at&nbsp;different phases&nbsp;of projects including construction documents.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
