    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><u>Position Overview</u></strong></p><p>A Maintenance Technician - Electrical is responsible for performing skilled electrical work including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures safe and reliable operation of machinery, power distribution, control systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) by following electrical codes, technical drawings, and company standards.</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery, control panels, wiring systems, and PLCs to ensure minimal downtime and reliable operation</li><li>Repair or replace defective wiring, equipment, and components using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices.</li><li>Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in accordance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and blueprints.</li><li>Maintain electrical systems including motors, control panels, lighting, and power distribution to ensure optimal performance and safety.</li><li>Program and modify PLCs and automated control systems to improve process efficiency and equipment functionality.</li><li>Document all electrical maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, time spent, and work performed, in compliance with company procedures.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Vocational or Technical training as Electrician Required.&nbsp;</li><li>3-5 Years Relevant Experience Required.&nbsp;</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field PLC Preferred.</li><li>Basic PLC and motor control knowledge Required</li><li>Programming Certification Preferred.</li><li>OSHA 10/OSHA 30 Preferred.</li><li>NFPA 70E Certification Preferred.</li><li>Skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or other web-based applications. &nbsp;May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting Preferred</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment Preferred</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Core Competencies</u></strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Makes decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation. &nbsp;May make recommendations for solving problems of moderate complexity and importance.</li><li>Addresses problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge and skills based on general precedents.</li><li>Follows precedents and procedures. &nbsp;May set priorities and organize work within general guidelines. &nbsp;Seeks assistance when confronted with difficult and/or unpredictable situations. &nbsp;Work progress is monitored by supervisor/manager.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures, and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.</li><li>Ability to interact respectfully with other employees, professional staff and/or external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information, or deliver services.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.</li><li>Ability to comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with staff and customers.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written English with internal and external customers.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY</u></strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Not Applicable</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Working Conditions/Physical Demand</u></strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Physical ability to perform electrical tasks.</li><li>Regular sitting, standing, walking and keyboard Usage .</li><li>Visual, sensory and auditory acuity.</li><li>Work requires periods of close attention to work without interruption.
