They collaborate with the other members of the campus leadership team and the Administrative Office to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with the College's vision and values. General education curriculum is delivered on weekday evenings.</p>\n<p><strong>Essential responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>General education curriculum</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the general education component of the nursing program, set strategic goals,and ensure alignment with College-wide objectives, utilizing data and statistics relatedto program outcomes to engage in improvement strategies.</li>\n <li>Recruit, hire, and lead the general education team, fostering a collaborative andinclusive work environment.</li>\n <li>Provide ongoing support, guidance, and professional development opportunities tofaculty members to enhance their teaching skills and promote student success.</li>\n <li>Oversee general education faculty evaluations, ensuring adherence to establishedperformance standards and regulations, providing constructive feedback for growthand improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Science laboratory</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain an effective science lab supply procurement process to ensureappropriate inventory levels are adhered to.</li>\n <li>Integrate nursing lab equipment and techniques into general education curriculum.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Student outcomes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain an on-site presence and interact often with students, faculty, and staff.</li>\n <li>Support student compliance requirements for students’ advancement to core nursingin collaboration with the Dean of Nursing and the Campus President.</li>\n <li>Promote a student-centric approach, fostering an environment that supports thepersonal and professional growth of students.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop strategies that enhance studentrecruitment, retention, and success.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement policies, procedures, and curriculum to maintain consistencyacross all campuses, while accommodating regional needs and regulations.</li>\n <li>Foster an environment of academic excellence, innovation, and continuousimprovement within the nursing program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Regulatory compliance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain compliant records, including faculty files and student records.</li>\n <li>Address student concerns, complaints, and disciplinary issues in accordance withCollege policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Supervise and conduct face-to-face and online classroom observations of the General Education faculty and supporting staff per ABHES requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Arizona College of Nursing, we believe in a collaborative approach where all colleagues worktogether towards our shared goals. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Must have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree from a CHEA accredited institution</li>\n <li>Two years’ academic leadership experience</li>\n <li>Two years’ full-time teaching experience or equivalent experience in an adjunct capacity</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in biology, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry, or a related discipline</li>\n <li>Doctorate degree from an accredited institution</li>\n <li>Experience in higher education preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What We Are Offering You:</h2>Competitive pay and opportunities for professional development.
