    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian <strong>Registered Nurse </strong>at <strong>San Diego Naval Medical Center in California.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday</li>\n <li>Employee status </li>\n <li>Eligible for a full complement of benefits to include Medical, Dental & Vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, 11 paid Federal Holidays and more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree: Associates Degree of Nursing.</li>\n <li>Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation </li>\n <li>Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).</li>\n <li>Experience One year of experience within the last two years as a registered nurse.</li>\n <li>Licensure: Possess a current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. jurisdiction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to operate as Charge Nurse Role</li>\n <li>Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. </li>\n <li>Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.</li>\n <li>Perform physical exam and health histories.</li>\n <li>Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.</li>\n <li>Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with and provide clinical guidance to members of the healthcare team in the coordination of patient care.</li>\n <li>Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.</li>\n <li>Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.</li>\n <li>Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.</li>\n <li>Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Perform nursing services identified in the TO.</li>\n <li>Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Company Overview: </strong></p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
