Description Hill International is seeking a Construction Manager in Austin, Texas The Construction Manager is responsible for coordination and monitoring of overall field construction administration activities and supports the coordination by the Project Managers of the management of engineering services on projects of a diverse nature in accordance with design specifications to ensure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, within budget, and on schedule. Responsibilities Overseeing field and construction activities that include construction coordinators and other CM support staff. Performs QC checks on their own work product and that of their staff. Supports the client in coordinating with other departments (i.e. Capital Delivery, CPEAT, DSD, Finance, etc.) Assist client in change management & scope development. Liaison between contractors and internal field stakeholders (i.e. Maintenance, Operations, Security, etc.). Attend Contractor Progress (OAC) meetings, punch walks, mockup reviews, etc. Verifying the construction contractors’ mobilization schedules including recommendations to client for approval of contractual requirements before issuance of Notice to Proceed. Detailed knowledge of the preparation, updating, and maintenance of the project schedule(s). This will include an overall schedule and/or individual schedules, as required, to track design review activities, procurement activities and construction activities. Coordinate with the Program/Project Manager in collaboration with pre-construction and design teams to review plans & information related to constructability and all costs involved in developing the project’s execution. Reviewing and approving contractors’ Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Logistics plan(s). Managing quality services related to oversight and supervision of construction contractors’ quality control services, including, at a minimum, confirming that the standards required by the contract are met. Reviewing, adapting as necessary, and monitoring construction safety programs. Leading periodic construction meetings, and additional meetings if needed, to resolve issues impacting cost and schedule. Supports the review and negotiations of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) field costs, equipment, and General Conditions (GCs). Working with the Environmental Officer to monitor compliance with all environmental requirements. Overseeing construction monitoring and associated reporting as required to confirm Contractor compliance with the contract requirements. Ensures that project site and company assets are secure and always maintain a safe and respectful working environment by coordinating with ROCIP team, safety and risk management teams. Provides input to monthly pay-application reviews so the client can finalize the billing. Review Daily Construction Reports weekly work plans to achieve schedule compliance. Supports the contract change order review process, including review of contractor estimates, negotiate change orders, and assist in obtaining required approvals. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on vertical building projects. Certified Construction Manager preferred. P6 Experience preferred. Demonstrated aviation-related construction experience, including work on or around airport terminals and improvement projects. Ability to successfully pass a TSA criminal background check. Strong understanding of environmental codes and regulatory requirements relevant to airport construction. Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and SharePoint. Familiarity with building codes and standards, and ability to interpret design documents and contract specifications. Valid Driver’s License. Must be willing to work onsite in Austin, TX.     "InternalResponsibilitiesStr": "<ul><li>Overseeing field and construction activities that include construction coordinators and other CM support staff. &nbsp;</li><li>Performs QC checks on their own work product and that of their staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Supports the client in coordinating with other &nbsp;departments (i.e. Capital Delivery, CPEAT, DSD, Finance, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Assist client in change management &amp; scope development.&nbsp;</li><li>Liaison between contractors and internal field stakeholders (i.e. Maintenance, Operations, Security, etc.).&nbsp;</li><li>Attend Contractor Progress (OAC) meetings, punch walks, mockup reviews, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Verifying the construction contractors’ mobilization schedules including recommendations to client for approval of contractual requirements before issuance of Notice to Proceed.&nbsp;</li><li>Detailed knowledge of the preparation, updating, and maintenance of the project schedule(s). This will include an overall schedule and/or individual schedules, as required, to track design review activities, procurement activities and construction activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with the Program/Project Manager in collaboration with pre-construction and design teams to review plans &amp; information related to constructability and all costs involved in developing the project’s execution.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing and approving contractors’ Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Logistics plan(s).&nbsp;</li><li>Managing quality services related to oversight and supervision of construction contractors’ quality control services, including, at a minimum, confirming that the standards required by the contract are met.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing, adapting as necessary, and monitoring construction safety programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Leading periodic construction meetings, and additional meetings if needed, to resolve issues impacting cost and schedule.&nbsp;</li><li>Supports the review and negotiations of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) field costs, equipment, and General Conditions (GCs).&nbsp;</li><li>Working with the Environmental Officer to monitor compliance with all environmental requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Overseeing construction monitoring and associated reporting as required to confirm Contractor compliance with the contract requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures that project site and company assets are secure and always maintain a safe and respectful working environment by coordinating with ROCIP team, safety and risk management teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides input to monthly pay-application reviews so the client can finalize the billing.&nbsp;</li><li>Review Daily Construction Reports weekly work plans to achieve schedule compliance.&nbsp;</li><li>Supports the contract change order review process, including review of contractor estimates, negotiate change orders, and assist in obtaining required approvals.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li></ul>",
