    "description_html": "<p>Job Description:</p><p>Our client is looking for a Director of Construction to plan and execute new store builds, and supervise construction projects from development to completion for several restaurant concepts across the United States.  This position has a high level of ownership, responsibility, and authority, requiring both strategic and tactical skills. </p><ul><li>Site Design Review</li><li>Property Due Diligence</li><li>Working with local and state planning committees</li><li>Project Management for multiple locations</li><li>Achieve the budget costs associated with self-developed projects</li><li>Prepare and negotiate cost estimates, and work timetables</li><li>Select appropriate construction methods and strategies</li><li>Report on work progress and budget matter</li><li>Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction building specialists</li><li>Instruct and supervise construction personnel, vendors, consultants and activities</li><li>Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations</li><li>Schedule critical site visits for future, upcoming, active and completed projects</li><li>Review all plans prior to bid & construction to identify errors or needed updates</li><li>Perform detailed take-off of materials estimates from plans (tile, lighting & fixture counts, RTU’s, etc.)</li><li>Review shop drawings and submittals</li><li>Follow brand standards and Company procedures</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree preferred</li><li>8+ years of experience in construction of commercial construction within the restaurant or retail space</li><li>Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of construction and development concepts and strategies.</li><li>Must have a proven broad business perspective and clearly understand the dynamics and economics of construction.</li><li>Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.</li><li>Proven record of interpersonal, negotiation, planning, communication and organizational skills.</li></ul>",
