The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.&#xa0;</p><p>You would be providing our clients with automatic suppression system design, fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design, life-safety code analysis, egress analysis, fire resistant construction analysis, smoke control analysis and special inspection as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>Qualifications Include:</u></strong></p><ul><li>BS degree in engineering or related science from accredited university</li><li>Fire Protection Engineering specific degree (preferred)</li><li>From 3-5 years of professional AEC Consulting experience</li><li>PE (desired)&#xa0;<ul><li>Passed the fire protection engineering exam required</li></ul></li><li>EIT with ability to obtain PE</li><li>Experience with the current version of AutoCAD and Revit (preferred)</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><strong>Required Duties and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Attend and participate in local and national professional organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA</li><li>Perform building and fire code analysis and code interpretations</li><li>Provide peer reviews of colleagues’ work product</li><li>Have or be developing an “area of expertise” within fire protection engineering</li><li>Design new fire protection systems including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm and communication systems. Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems</li><li>Interest and ability to advance to a senior engineer or project manager position.</li><li>Possess basic level computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and a working knowledge of computer‐aided drafting and Revit, (fire dynamic simulation for fire protection engineers).</li><li>Perform consulting services for internal clients, utilizing Fire Protection engineering concepts.</li><li>Performs other duties as may be assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><em>This position is not eligible for Sponsorship</em></strong></p>",
