The Cost Analyst will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Open to internal and external candidates.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work closely with project controls cost leads, government financial managers, and project managers to monitor project performance.  This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.</li>\n <li>Support project managers in the development of monthly project estimates, monitoring project cost performance, funding availability and Earned Value Management related reporting.</li>\n <li>Support annual workload proposal process and subsequent proposal revisions.   </li>\n <li>Develop and maintain project narratives to provide context for financial data.</li>\n <li>Perform budget, financial and cost variance analysis.</li>\n <li>Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all project documentation and files.</li>\n <li>Monitor project costs for accuracy and comparison to budget.</li>\n <li>Process actual cost corrections when needed.</li>\n <li>Support on-demand business reporting requests as required.</li>\n <li>Analyze financial data to provide accurate and timely cost reports to stakeholders.</li>\n <li>It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Grade 06: BS degree in either Finance, Accounting, or Engineering plus one year of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Grade 07: BS degree in either Finance, Accounting, or Engineering plus a minimum of three years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.</li>\n <li>Current U. S.
