We are currently looking for interns to join and support the FalkenSteg team in our corporate-finance operations (distressed M&A).

What you can expect at FalkenSteg
You will be part of small project teams with flat hierarchies, where you will be given close guidance by our experienced partners You will experience a steep learning curve with significant deal exposure You will work pragmatically with a solution-centric approach in line with the hands-on mentality we uphold You will strengthen and expand your skills in M&A project management, investor communication, business valuation, due diligence, finance, insolvency law and restructuring in a project environment spanning various industries
Your duties
Assisting with process management in the context of M&A transactions Conducting market, company and financial analyses Creating marketing materials related to pitches and transactions Preparing for meetings with investors
What we expect from you
You have successfully completed at least four academic semesters for a degree in economic/legal studies or a comparable programme Previous experience from relevant work placements in corporate finance, restructuring, finance, financial and management accounting; or business development preferred Entrepreneurial mindset (ideally, you already have experience as an Entrepreneur) Keen interest in business transactions and solid basic knowledge of accounting and business valuation Analytical and structured approach to work Team player, self-directed, confident disposition, flexible and willing to travel Commitment to excellence by producing precise work Fluent in written and spoken English and German (additional foreign language skills advantageous)
