The Recovery Support Technician provides recovery-focused, trauma-informed support to individuals receiving residential and crisis services. This role empowers clients to build hope, wellness, and independence while supporting a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment.</p>\n<p>This <strong>part-time position is based in Maryville, IL</strong>, with evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available and eligible for shift pay differentials.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Chestnut Health Systems™ is a leading provider of integrated health care services. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n<p><strong>Recovery-Focused Support</strong>• Empower clients through recovery-focused, trauma-informed care emphasizing hope, respect, wellness, and self-advocacy, including use of tools such as WRAP• Model professionalism, positivity, and personal responsibility while supporting clients in becoming active participants in their recovery• Deliver individualized, goal-directed services in alignment with treatment and safety plans, maintaining at least 65% direct client service time• Assist clients in connecting with natural supports, internal programs, and community resources to promote independence and stability</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Coordination & Communication</strong>• Maintain positive, professional relationships with hospitals, medical providers, Medicaid partners, and other community stakeholders• Participate in staff meetings, program development activities, and required supervision and trainings• Provide backup support to team members as needed to ensure continuity of care• Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, including answering phones, managing mail, monitoring safety systems, and providing basic first aid when necessary</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Documentation & Standards</strong>• Complete accurate and timely documentation and data entry in the electronic medical record, with a goal of 80% completion within 48 hours of service• Uphold Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service excellence• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all organizational and client information• Perform other duties as assigned to support program and agency goals</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Current Openings:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Men's Residential Unit </strong></p>\n<p>Every Sat 7 am to 330p</p>\n<p>Sat and Sun 7a to 330p </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.• Demonstrated skills in human services and experience working with adults in related services.• Ability to work constructively within an organizational structure and accept supervision.• Personal recovery experience and willingness to appropriately discuss one’s own recovery journey.• Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability (when applicable).• Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic medical records (EMR).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement?</em>Research shows that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs when they don’t meet every qualification.
