The Resource Nurse will step in to cover various assignments, adapting quickly to different patient care needs and environments. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patient populations. As a successful candidate, you will: Provide relief coverage for meal and rest periods for staff assigned to care for patients Ensure seamless continuation of patient care during nurse breaks and absences Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records during relief coverage Support nursing staff by addressing immediate patient care needs and resolving any issues that arise during coverage Understand and apply the City of Hope Code of Conduct, Code of Organizational Ethics, policies, procedures, performance and quality improvement objectives Part time Nights - 7pm - 7:30am Join the transformative team at City of Hope , where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses.
