    "description_html": "<p>Job Summary: The Radiology Technologist (R.T.), under minimal supervision, performs a variety of duties as a member of the surgical team. The R.T. conducts x-ray procedures in the operating and special procedure rooms, processes images, and ensures proper equipment calibration. They may assist in preparing supplies/equipment for cases and contribute to case prep for the following day.</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Duties / Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Assemble supplies and positioning aids per physician preference cards.</li><li>Test and monitor radiology equipment for proper function.</li><li>Ensure all personnel are shielded before activating x-ray.</li><li>Maintain aseptic technique during procedures.</li><li>Remain available during procedures for timely support.</li><li>Follow federal/state regulations and manufacturer guidelines.</li><li>Document radiation exposure in patient records.</li><li>Assist with inventory control and suite turnover/cleaning.</li><li>Provide support to staff, physicians, and visitors using strong guest relations.</li><li>Serve as a resource to other staff members.</li><li>Follow all infection control and OSHA guidelines, including PPE use.</li><li>Participate in staff education, QI activities, and staff meetings.</li><li>Maintain required certifications and assist in emergencies.</li><li>Support new employee/student orientation and training.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required Skills / Abilities:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling instruments.</li><li>Ability to stay calm and function well under pressure in surgical settings.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Education and Experience:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.</li><li>R.T.
