    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>Acuren is currently recruiting for a Junior Cathodic Protection Tech for our Magnolia, TX location. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Intermediate CP Technician is responsible for planning and performing technical duties that support assigned projects. Job tasks include but are not limited to: testing, evaluating, remediation and installation of cathodic protection systems. The Intermediate CP Technician works independently with moderate supervision or as part of a project team and follows procedures and specifications applicable to the job scope.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow applicable procedures and standards to diagnose and troubleshoot cathodic protection and AC mitigation system deficiencies, conduct various types of field surveys and assessments, and complete installations</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed field notes and provide field level assessment to inspection results and recommendations</li>\n <li>Sketch various CP system components and electrical schematics</li>\n <li>Provide technical assistance to other divisions within the company</li>\n <li>Conduct and/or supervise various field tests (ex. structure potential, CIPS, AC, DCVG, ACVG, ACCA, line locating, soil resistivity, current requirements, etc.) under minimal support from senior team member</li>\n <li>Organize and review data gathered, prepare charts and tables</li>\n <li>Field test equipment, software and testing procedures; log results and communicate to development team(s); provide issue resolution recommendations to development team(s)</li>\n <li>Contribute to internal initiatives as required</li>\n <li>Provide training and mentorship to junior staff</li>\n <li>Contribute to the continual improvement quality process</li>\n <li>Conform to corporate, client, and government operating and safety procedures</li>\n <li>Develop trusted business relationships with existing and prospective clients</li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years in pipeline integrity or oil and gas industry1+ years in cathodic protection or AC mitigation</li>\n <li>NACE CP2 certification</li>\n <li>Rectifier training or experience</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance</li>\n <li>401K Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Acuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
