    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>The Sr Building Service Tech-Electrician undertakes a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances and any general electrical equipment.</sub></span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Primary responsibilities include:</sub></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>PM and reactive ownership of all lighting, intercom and other electrical systems</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Complete general building maintenance repairs when required</sub></span></span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Qualifications</sub></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Proven experience as an electrician</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Thorough knowledge of Electrical safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Flexibility to work long shifts and overnight</sub></span></span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials</sub></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Valid Rhode Island State Electrician's License</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Valid Driver’s License</sub></span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><sub>Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
