          "text": "<p>In addition to being creative, proactive and detail-oriented, the preferred candidate will have:</p><ul><li>3-8 years of structural engineering experience</li><li>PE and MS or MEng degree (preferred)</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits.</li><li>Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.</li><li>Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.</li></ul><p>PLEASE NOTE: You will be working closely with the Eugene Structural office’s team leader, however, to be successful in this position; you will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision on basic engineering tasks.</p><p>This is not a remote position, and the expectation is that you will be in the Eugene office most of the time to work in-person with other team members and clients.</p>",
