This positions is also responsible for cleaning offices both at the facility and at corporate. Performs all work in a safe, efficient and sanitary manner in accordance with regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices. Responsible for food safety.</p><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;Essential Job Functions</span></h3><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Cleans equipment per the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) as directed by the Sanitation Supervisor and/or Sanitation Manager to maintain a clean processing environment for all products.&nbsp;</li><li>Dismantles equipment prior to cleaning as needed and reassembles when completed as directed.</li><li>Works with the Sanitation Supervisor to sample the flour tailings and maintain the cleanliness of the flour sifter as required.</li><li>Cleans the facility to maintain a clean processing environment for the all products.&nbsp;</li><li>Cleans employee services areas to maintain clean facilities for all employees.</li><li>Utilizes cleaning chemicals in the appropriate quantities and for the intended purposes to assure plant surfaces are clean and meet regulatory standards.</li><li>Cleans equipment after repairs and prior to the return of equipment to production at the direction of the production and/or maintenance supervisor.</li><li>Cleans the offices, emptying trash, vacuuming and performing other cleaning functions.</li><li>Maintains the office kitchens and bathrooms ensuring areas are clean and sanitary.</li><li>Maintains the grounds as required.</li><li>Replenishes soaps, paper products, hairnets etc. as needed.</li><li>Serves on the production line as needed and on the safety committee if selected.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education/Training</strong>:&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ability to read, write legibly, and perform simple mathematic functions</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>HS Diploma or GED</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h6>Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: &nbsp;</h6><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis</li><li>Understand and apply Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for various chemicals used</li><li>Must be able to work weekends</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous sanitation or cleaning experience</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):</strong></p><ul><li>Slip resistant footwear&nbsp;</li><li>Apron or smock or uniform</li><li>Company supplied gloves</li><li>Hairnet/beard net</li><li>Ear, eye, and head protection gear&nbsp;</li></ul><h6>&nbsp;</h6><h6>Employees Supervised: None</h6><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Travel Required: &nbsp;</strong>None</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong>: &nbsp; Typical food manufacturing environment with regular exposure to heat and cold environments depending on the area assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Safety Sensitive Position:</strong> Yes</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This job description is intended to describe the general nature of the job. &nbsp;It is not a complete list of job duties and responsibilities and may not contain a complete list of the skills and abilities needed to do the job. &nbsp;In addition, the job may change as the business changes or customer needs change or may vary from location to location.</p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
