We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, organized, and has a positive outlook, along with a natural drive to learn, grow and problem solve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes and finalizes internal mail audits by obtaining needed information directly from the insureds by mail and phone.  Creates audit spreadsheets detailing correct exposures for all classifications by reviewing federal and state payroll reports, financial statements, and other payroll and sales reporting documents to assist in meeting unit production goals. Requests for additional documentation to insureds when necessary.</li>\n <li>Reviews dispute information received from general agents, insureds or producers who are contesting an audit after it has been sent out for billing.  Decides if dispute information is valid to warrant a revision. Communicates directly with insured’s and their representatives to resolve audit disputes and premium due the Company.</li>\n <li>Process and review audits in Direct Collections</li>\n <li>Communicates with all Underwriting and external customers regarding exposures, classification changes or general auditing procedure questions and audit results.</li>\n <li>Acts as back up to associate auditors to include completing vendor and estimated audits as needed.  </li>\n <li>Interacts with team-members to encourage and foster a positive work environment.   </li>\n <li>Participate with team on workflow efficiencies</li>\n <li>Completes special projects assigned by management and perform other duties as may be assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>College degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferred or 3 years insurance-related experience or training to include basic knowledge of insurance policy and premium transactions preferred.</li>\n <li>APA, AIS, AAI, ASLI, CPCU or other insurance related classes recommended but not required.</li>\n <li>Must have a strong customer service background working in a professional environment.</li>\n <li>Excess and Surplus lines background is beneficial.</li>\n <li>Must have working knowledge of the Bureau rating process, including proper application of ISO rules and policy issuance procedures.  </li>\n <li>Ability to create audit spreadsheets detailing correct exposures for all classifications by reviewing and understanding federal and state payroll reports, financial statements, and other payroll and sales reporting documents is helpful. </li>\n <li>Must have knowledge and basic proficiency of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why This Job</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Contribute </strong>to accurate premium accounting</li>\n <li><strong>Interact and communicate with underwriters, agents, vendors and insureds</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Provide excellent customer service</strong> in a professional environment</li>\n <li><strong>Collaborate with team members</strong> to foster a positive and supportive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Company Details</h2>Berkley Aspire is passionate about making excess and surplus lines business easy to transact.
