    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Job</span></p>\n<p>Neo Environmental, an award-winning planning and environmental consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hydrologist to be based out of our Warrington, Bristol or Glasgow office and work on a broad variety of projects.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The position will offer the right individual the opportunity to work for a well-established and growing planning and environmental consultancy.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work on projects including residential schemes, infrastructure and energy projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high degree of independence as well as in teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management and delivery of Flood Risk Assessment, SuDs schemes, etc.</li>\n<li>Understanding of hydraulic modelling and associated reports</li>\n<li>Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team</li>\n<li>Organising and conducting site visits, attending team and client meetings</li>\n<li>Undertaking extensive modelling work and report writing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Criteria</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant hydrology qualification as well as being chartered or working towards chartership (preferably ICE or CIWEM)</li>\n<li>Experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans</li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery of hydrology reports</li>\n<li>Good knowledge and understanding of UK legislation</li>\n<li>The successful candidate will be required to produce reports for clients and so attention to detail, reliability, and good organisational skills are essential.</li>\n<li>Experienced in GIS and other software packages</li>\n<li>Full driving license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable Criteria</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree relevant to hydrology</li>\n<li>Hydraulic modelling experience</li>\n<li>Experience in peat stability and related assessments</li>\n<li>Strong scientific and engineering knowledge in relation to hydrology</li>\n<li>Tendering/bid preparation experience</li>\n<li>Production of EIA Chapters</li>\n<li>Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro, HEC-RAS, or similar programme</li>\n</ul>",
