Description Position Title: Shipping Forklift Operator Pay Rate: $25.59 per hour (+ shift differential of $.25 per hour working 2nd shift / $.50 per hour working 3rd shift) Sign on Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time. 2 openings: 2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm M-F OR 3rd Shift: 11pm – 7am M-F -Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods. Physical Location: Tampa Box Plant 6706 N 53rd St Tampa, FL 33610 The Job You Will Perform: Safely operate a sit-down powered industrial truck (PIT); Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment; Load and unload trailers; Complete pre-start PIT maintenance inspection report; Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure; Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received; Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded; Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments; Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment; Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcart Follow all safety rules and practices at all times; and Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
