This role combines deep platform integration work—including hardware bring-up, BSP development, and ASIC driver integration—with NOS control plane and data plane development. You'll work collaboratively with hardware, firmware, and SAI/SDK teams to deliver high-performance, production-ready network operating systems. You'll work in an AI-first development environment, leveraging cutting-edge tooling to maximize productivity and impact.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">NOS Platform Integration: Lead platform porting and BSP development for switch ASIC platforms, including hardware bring-up, driver integration, and platform-specific adaptations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Hardware Integration: Integrate and validate ASIC drivers, optics/transceiver management, thermal/power management, and BMC/baseboard interfaces</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Multi-NOS Support: Design platform abstractions and implementations to support both SONiC and FBOSS architectures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">NOS Development: Design and implement control plane and data plane components for SONiC and FBOSS, ensuring seamless operation with underlying hardware</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Platform Services: Develop and maintain platform services and daemons for hardware monitoring, configuration, and management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">SAI/SDK Integration: Collaborate with SAI/SDK team to integrate switch abstraction layer with SONiC and FBOSS architectures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Test Infrastructure: Build and maintain test frameworks, automation, and CI/CD pipelines for NOS platform validation; write comprehensive unit and integration tests</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize NOS performance for latency, throughput, and resource utilization</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Open Source Collaboration: Engage with the SONiC and FBOSS open-source communities, contribute improvements where applicable, and stay current with upstream developments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">7-10 years of software engineering experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Linux systems programming and networking stack experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Switch/networking hardware experience OR network operating system development experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
