    "descriptionText": "Salary: CAD 69,500–107,700\n\n Description\n\nLocation: Colborne, ON Onsite\n\nExempt Position\n\n Sr Accountant \n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n Ensure all daily accounting transactions are recorded properly, including AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, credit cards, and bank transactions.\n Complete month end and year end closings, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and maintaining reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.\n Manage inventory records, assist with product costing, and perform cost rollups or updates as needed for manufacturing operations.\n Maintain and update the chart of accounts, support GL maintenance, and coordinate with IT/ERP systems.\n Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards such as sales tax and payroll.\n Prepare data for annual audits, support tax filings, and provide schedules for external accountants or auditors.\n Develop and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency in financial reporting and close processes.\n Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and provide financial analyses for management decisions such as capital investments and pricing.\n Serve as a backup or support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related finance functions during peak periods or absences.\n Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and other business units on cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives.\n\n Requirements\n\n Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting\n Progressive accounting experience in a professional capacity; manufacturing industry experience preferred.\n CPA preferred\n Familiar with Canadian Accounting Principles\n Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.\n Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems; advanced Excel skills required.\n Demonstrated experience in process improvement, cost accounting, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.\n Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or within a team.\n\n Preferred: \n\n Previous public accounting experience or exposure to manufacturing cost accounting.\n\n Benefits\n\n Why Join Cam Tran \n\nCompetitive salary and benefits\n\n $88,600 $105,000 annual base salary range\n\n Annual Incentive Plan eligible\n L.E.A.R.N. development program\n Clean, safety first workplace with ISO 9001:2015 registration\n Growth oriented, values driven culture\n\nCam Tran welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
