This role leads project planning, coordination, communication, and execution while serving as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong>\n<strong>Project Management & Execution</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects from initiation through closeout</li>\n <li>Develop short- and long-term project goals, strategies, and execution plans</li>\n <li>Track and document project progress using company systems</li>\n <li>Ensure project accuracy and completeness by identifying and resolving discrepancies</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Communication & Collaboration</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for customers</li>\n <li>Manage all project communications and maintain thorough project documentation</li>\n <li>Partner with Engineering, Estimating, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project scope</li>\n <li>Lead and participate in project meetings as required</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Financial & Contract Management</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage project financials to ensure profitability and cost control</li>\n <li>Review project performance with leadership and implement corrective action plans as needed</li>\n <li>Assist with contract review and mark-ups</li>\n <li>Coordinate customer payments and manage change orders and back charges with appropriate approvals</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Procurement & Scheduling</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Review final submittals for accuracy prior to procurement</li>\n <li>Prepare and release purchase orders to the Procurement team</li>\n <li>Establish delivery schedules and coordinate freight, labor, and installation to optimize cost efficiency</li>\n <li>Assist in establishing master keying systems when applicable</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Leadership & Team Oversight</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide proactive leadership and direction to project team members</li>\n <li>Manage daily activities and workload of the project team</li>\n <li>Foster strong internal and external working relationships</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Project Closeout & Reporting</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, final billing, and customer satisfaction</li>\n <li>Review and manage all project-related reports</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned to support projects and corporate objectives</li>\n</ul>  \n<strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)</li>\n <li>2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the door and hardware industry or related construction field</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in computer software and industry-related products</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of accounting principles</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proven leadership and team management capabilities</li>\n <li>Ability to motivate others and build strong working relationships</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<strong><u>Reports To</u></strong>\n<em>Team Leader</em> \n<strong><u>Compensation</u></strong>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position.
