You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, steer project execution, and ensure successful outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><p>• Lead mechanical engineering workstreams across industrial projects, ensuring alignment with scope, quality standards, and industry regulations.<br>• Manage project schedules, budgets, resourcing, and risk logs for mechanical packages.<br>• Oversee coordination between engineering disciplines, operations, construction partners, and industrial clients.<br>• Deliver mechanical design packages (HVAC industrial, rotating equipment, piping, process utilities, material‑handling systems).<br>• Conduct technical reviews, validate calculations, and endorse design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.<br>• Ensure safety, operability, and maintainability requirements are integrated into engineering solutions for industrial facilities.<br>• Facilitate project meetings, progress reporting, and technical documentation for internal and client stakeholders.<br>• Support commissioning plans and resolve issues during construction and start‑up.</p><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng.<br>• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in <strong>industrial sectors;</strong> such as pulp &amp; paper, mining, manufacturing, process industries, food &amp; beverage, heavy industry, or energy.<br>• Demonstrated experience managing engineering deliverables, multidisciplinary coordination, and industrial project execution.<br>• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, mechanical modeling tools, and project‑management platforms.<br>• Strong understanding of industrial codes and standards (ASME, CSA, ANSI, NFPA).<br>• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and guide engineering teams.</p><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
