Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>The Volunteer Coordinator will supervise and evaluate volunteer participants.</li><li>The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, screen, select and train volunteers.</li><li>The Volunteer Coordinator will assess the patient or caregiver’s volunteer needs. Volunteer Coordinator will assign volunteers to meet patient needs and promote volunteer interest and skills.</li><li>Prepare client clinical and progress notes, incorporating notes into the electronic clinical record.</li><li>Participate in the development of client’s plan of care and assure compliance for volunteer services.</li><li>The Volunteer Coordinator will support the agency’s plan of care for services each patient receives through effective coordination with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and attendance at IDT meetings.</li><li>Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate program events such as Volunteer Training, Volunteer Appreciation Programs, Volunteer Fair and Volunteer Continuing Education programs.</li></ul><p><strong>**The IDEAL candidate for this position is someone who is a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented. &nbsp;**</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by management.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Brenham, Texas</p><p><strong>Shift:</strong> Part Time, ~25 per week</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong> This position is eligible for PTO accrual &amp; retirement contributions and matching!</p>",
