You who have a knack for building strong and trusting client relationships, leading projects across BC. You are highly organized, have a keen eye for detail and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish – on time, on budget and up to client expectations. The ideal candidate will bring the right people together, helping to coach and empower a high performing team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> To be successful in this role you will bring a wealth of experience leading projects and will be able to demonstrate a portfolio varying in scope and complexity with depth in project delivery focusing on institutional building and facility project delivery specifically in municipal, healthcare, education or mixed-use environments.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives</li>\n <li>Work on a number of facilities and building projects, varying in size and scope</li>\n <li>Develop, negotiate, execute and manage various construction and consulting contracts to deliver value for clients and manage risks on the projects </li>\n <li>Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues</li>\n <li>Guide clients through various procurement methodologies and lead the procurement process </li>\n <li>Select and organize project teams and establish levels of authority and lines of communication</li>\n <li>Lead the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System and procedures</li>\n <li>Chair project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholders</li>\n <li>Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice President</li>\n <li>Regularly report on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reports</li>\n <li>Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documents</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope in sectors such as institutional, healthcare, educational or commercial mixed-use</li>\n <li>A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation</li>\n <li>Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Approximate Base Salary Range for Role: $75,000 CAD to $110,000 CAD.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Base Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
