Description Instructional Designer (Power Delivery) – Training Support Services WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE This position will fill two positions, with one located at each of the following sites: APC Training Center - Calera, AL GPC Klondike Training Center - Stonecrest, GA * Candidates will be able to indicate their preferred location during the application process The team currently has a hybrid work schedule requiring the individual(s) to be  in the office   four (4) days a week and one (1) day remote . Occasional adjustments may require additional in-office time based on business needs. This is subject to change at any given time at the company’s discretion. No relocation assistance will be available. Travel would be less than 25%. POSITION SUMMARY Advance your career as an Instructional Designer supporting our Power Delivery Technical Training teams. In this role, you’ll gain insight into the field job tasks that keep the lights on while partnering with Technical Training Instructors to create impactful learning solutions for our Transmission and Distribution workforce. You’ll design engaging, accessible, and instructionally sound learning experiences - from instructor-led materials and job aids to interactive content - that align with established standards and guidelines. As training continues to evolve, you’ll collaborate on innovative solutions and help shape the future of learning for our workforce. Your work will support knowledge retention, strengthen safety, and build confidence in on-the-job application—ultimately driving performance and business results. Working closely with business partners, subject matter experts, and instructors, you’ll turn learning goals into practical, effective training experiences. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
