    "description": "<h2>Location</h2>US-Ohio-Burton\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>To design and develop new software applications. To analyze, improve and maintain HEXPOL's internal process control system running at local, national, and international locations within our Company. To maintain and improve other in-house developed applications.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and develop software applications using MSV C# 2017 (or later) utilizing internal conventions and standards to facilitate code comprehension and sharing with fellow programmers.</li>\n <li>Implement, test and debug support software applications.</li>\n <li>Maintain all code and documentation in Microsoft's Visual Source Safe version control.</li>\n <li>Write documentation within code, of process control applications.</li>\n <li>Determine project requirements in designing new programs or modifying existing ones.</li>\n <li>Interact with fellow IT members, fellow Associates in the design or training stages of a project, vendors if evaluating software, hardware or controls needed for a project.</li>\n <li>Provide training to users which may vary from production personnel to office desktop users.</li>\n <li>Provide phone support to fellow Associates to resolve program/training issues or supply customized process data.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot program issues to discover the problem and best solution.</li>\n <li>Travel will be necessary to domestic or international locations in support of the above items. </li>\n <li>Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Technical preferred</li>\n <li>Manufacturing experience is required. </li>\n <li>Ten plus (10+) years of experience in a software programming position </li>\n <li>Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficient computer/systems skills – MS Visual Studio C# experience plus knowledge of C++, MS SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS and DBA), VB 6, (DevExpress, HTML, ISS, SML, WEB API a plus)</li>\n <li>Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage a broad range of responsibilities</li>\n <li>High degree of concentration, diligence, high energy, initiative-taking and self-reliance</li>\n <li>Ability to interact well with all personality types</li>\n <li>Strong cooperation, collaboration, and team-building skills</li>\n <li>Effective analytical and critical thinking skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement</li>\n <li>Ability to manage personal and confidential information</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>HEXPOL Compounding Americas (HCA) is an essential early contributor to the global value chain responsible for the safety, quality, and performance of rubber compounding products and components used by original equipment manufacturers across a range of industries.
