This role leads and supports production team members, monitors workflow, enforces safety and quality standards, and ensures production targets are met according to schedule. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><p>Production &amp; Operations</p><p>• Lead production activities for cable and wire manufacturing lines (extrusion, stranding, braiding, jacketing, testing, etc.).</p><p>• Assign work, prioritize tasks, and balance labor to meet production schedules.</p><p>• Monitor production output, efficiency, scrap, and downtime; take corrective action as needed.</p><p>• Set up and change over equipment according to production requirements and specifications.</p><p>• Ensure materials, tools, and documentation are available prior to production start.</p><p><strong>Leadership &amp; Team Support</strong></p><p>• Provide hands-on leadership and direction to operators and technicians.</p><p>• Train, coach, and mentor team members on equipment operation, quality standards, and safety procedures.</p><p>• Serve as the first point of contact for production issues, escalating when appropriate.</p><p>• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.</p><p>• Identify, collaborate, and integrate processes with other departments to drive overall success.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Quality &amp; Compliance</strong></p><p>• Ensure all products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.</p><p>• Perform and document in-process inspections and quality checks.</p><p>• Enforce adherence to ISO, IPC, OSHA, and internal quality and safety requirements.</p><p>• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or production issues.</p><p><strong>Safety &amp; Housekeeping</strong></p><p>• Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.</p><p>• Lead by example to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S).</p><p>• Report and help investigate safety incidents, near misses, and hazards.</p><p><strong>Documentation &amp; Reporting</strong></p><p>• Complete production reports, shift logs, and downtime records accurately and on time.</p><p>• Communicate shift handovers clearly, including issues, priorities, and status updates.</p><p>• Assist with tracking KPIs such as productivity, scrap, and on-time delivery.</p><p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p><p>• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and safety.</p><p>• Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p>• Support new product launches, trials, and process validations.</p><p><br></p>",
