Knowing that airports are a key economic driver and source of pride for the geographic areas they serve, we proudly perform as partners in more than facilities and other infrastructure. &nbsp;We partner in success.</p>\n<p><strong>DESCRIPTION</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Michael Baker International </strong>is seeking to hire a Full-Time <strong>Aviation Civil Associate</strong>&nbsp;to join our Aviation Engineering group in <strong>Cleveland, OH</strong>. In this role, you will report directly to the Aviation Department Lead/ Aviation Engineer and will be involved with planning, design and construction engineering for airports and other transportation projects. The selected candidate should be a motivated self-starter who displays a passion for solving problems, interacting in a team environment, and meeting established deadlines.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Geometric layout of roadways, parking lots and airfield facilities</li>\n <li>Drainage design to support airfield, roadway and parking lot projects</li>\n <li>Civil / site design to support airport building structures</li>\n <li>Preparation of technical specifications for landside and airside projects</li>\n <li>Preparation of construction cost estimates</li>\n <li>Writing engineer’s reports</li>\n <li>Developing graphics for client presentations</li>\n <li>Performing construction engineering services including shop drawing review, responses to contractor questions and periodic construction site visits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology required.</li>\n <li>0-2 years of related experience.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Aviation and/or Transportation/Site Development Engineering background preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Engineer-in-Training preferred; ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>AutoCAD experience, preferably with Civil 3D experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION</strong><br/>The approximate compensation range for this position is $56,267 - $89,898 per year.
