Reports to the Speech/Language Pathologist Supervisor of Early Intervention.</p>\r\n\r\n<p> </p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>1. Supports the achievement of children and family outcomes.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>2. Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary team in assessing the development of developmentally delayed children in the areas of communication, hearing, oral motor, and feeding.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>3. Writes assessments, identifies children’s strengths and needs and makes recommendations for treatment.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>4. Shares assessment results with families. Cooperates with other agencies regarding all aspects of assessing developmentally delayed children.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>5. Maintains upkeep of personal office space, and therapeutic equipment. Follows Universal Precautions.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>6. Develops a team relationship with other specialists using the routines based early intervention philosophy.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>7. Establishes rapport with the child and the family.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>8. Maintains ongoing contact with the Assistant Early Intervention Director and Director if needed.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>9. Performs other duties as assigned.</p>",
