    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><u>About the Job</u></strong></span><br><br><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Diesel Shop Supervisor to lead our second-shift maintenance operations in Gaithersburg, MD. This position combines strong diesel mechanic expertise with front-line supervisory responsibilities by providing direct leadership for technicians. Manages work flow and assigns tasks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">As a working supervisor, you will provide leadership and technical guidance to a team of 6 technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality maintenance and repair of a fleet of approximately 70 vehicles. This role requires the ability to balance administrative duties with active participation in diagnostics and repairs.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Shift Details:</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">This is a 2nd shift position, with a start time between 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with rotating Saturdays.&nbsp;</span><br><br><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><u>What you'll be doing</u></strong></span><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Performs mechanical duties as needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Creates and submits reports as necessary.</span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><u>What does it take to be a Diesel Shop Supervisor with WM?</u></strong></span><br><br><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">A.
