    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Rahns Construction Materials, Inc.</strong> is looking for the ideal Plant Operator to provide smooth operator of plant equipment. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, professional, and experienced with plant operation and maintenance. Experience with a 320 Wheel loader is preferred but training is available for a conscientious, safety minded individual willing to learn.  Must be willing to do outside labor tasks at our plant locations. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Abilities, Duties, and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follows company safety policies and OSHA policies.</li>\n <li>Perform pre and post trip of equipment every day and fill out daily inspection sheets.</li>\n <li>Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel/moves joysticks to operate loader.</li>\n <li><strong>Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front end loader forward to force bucket into finished product.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled and dumps material into plant bins or dump trucks.</strong></li>\n <li>Provide excellent support to our batch plant manager, while performing all outside duties at our plant location.</li>\n <li>Maintains haul roads that are smooth and safe.</li>\n <li>Keep stockpiles properly pushed up  and maintained.</li>\n <li>Ensure product is consistent and loaded into the correct bins.</li>\n <li>Performs routine maintenance on loader and plant apparatus, such as lubricating and cleaning.</li>\n <li>Perform all work following company policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) OR one month of related experience and/or training\n  <ul>\n   <li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Basic mechanical abilities</li>\n <li>Verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Leadership and teamwork skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and organized</li>\n <li>Safety-focused</li>\n <li>Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ months of related experience and/or training</li>\n <li>Experience with equipment maintenance</li>\n <li>Experience with loader operations</li>\n <li><strong>Experience with Q329 caterpillar trackhoe and LT105 portable crusher</strong></li>\n <li>MSHA or other relevant safety certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly required to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Sit</li>\n   <li>Use hands to finger, handle, or feel</li>\n   <li>Reach with hands and arms</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Frequently required to talk and hear</li>\n <li>Occasionally required to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl</li>\n   <li>Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities including \n  <ul>\n   <li>Distance</li>\n   <li>Peripheral</li>\n   <li>Depth perception</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions</li>\n <li>Frequently exposed to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Moving mechanical parts </li>\n   <li>Vibrations</li>\n   <li>Fumes or airborne particles</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Noise level is usually loud</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Rahns Construction Material Company</strong></p>\n<p>Rahns has a long and proud heritage as one of Pennsylvania’s largest concrete suppliers.
