    "requisitionDescription": "<table border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" style=\"margin-left: 14.75pt;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p style=\"margin-left:3.45pt;\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p style=\"margin-left:4.75pt;\">The Engineering Technician will perform unscheduled work, sustainment work (preventive maintenance), corrective maintenance and enhancement work which includes preparation of memos, plans, specifications, drawings, planning/programming/execution documents, papers, letters, presentations, briefings, and other correspondence, in addition to leading and/or participating in the required meetings/visits, and planning/programming/execution conferences/meetings as required to support project development. This position is considered contingent upon award.</p><p style=\"margin-left:4.75pt;\"><em>Individuals must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position</em></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p style=\"margin-left:3.45pt;\"><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p></td></tr><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Provide specialized expertise and recommendations in relation to Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects.</li><li>Plan, organize, and lead others in studies, designs, and construction projects, record and manage the processes and documentation, and negotiate effectively.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.</li><li>Safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating on both paved and gravel roads.</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Building Code requirements, equipment troubleshooting, equipment diagnostics, &amp; equipment evaluation required.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, Air Force and DoD regulations and other documentation.</li><li>Assist with schedule support, project level meeting attendance, database support, and budget submittals.</li><li>Assist with cost/schedules/status report reviews, scientific and technical research/document reviews/recommendations, and analysis of program and project data gaps.</li><li>Must be detailed and safety oriented.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:4.75pt;\"><em>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
