Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>We are in search of a Orthopedic Surgeon to Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases and injuries to the musculoskeletal system, prescribe course of treatment for patients with injuries, disorders, or malformations and performs required surgery. Conducts and supervises direct patient care, including some non-surgical treatment options.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 Waiver Candidates Welcome!!!</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases and injuries to the musculoskeletal system.</li>\n <li>Prescribes course of treatment for patients with injuries, disorders, or malformations and performs required surgery.</li>\n <li>Conducts and supervises direct patient care, including some non-surgical treatment options.</li>\n <li>Plans and executes disease prevention and health promotion programs.</li>\n <li>Exercises command of medical units as provided by law and regulations.</li>\n <li>Conduct medical research on new injuries or diseases, and conducts, supervises, and participates in medical education and training of other medical personnel.</li>\n <li>Participates in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner.</li>\n <li>Provides outpatient consultation and hospital consultation services.</li>\n <li>Maintains CME units based on the requirements of the specifying Board.</li>\n <li>Maintains historical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events and writing summaries.</li>\n <li>Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Documentation skills</li>\n <li>Analyzing information</li>\n <li>Decision-making</li>\n <li>Listening</li>\n <li>Verbal communication</li>\n <li>Patient services</li>\n <li>Building relationships</li>\n <li>Discretion</li>\n <li>Bedside manner</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery in an ACGME approved program</li>\n <li>Current BC/BE in orthopedic surgery (American Board of Orthopedic Surgery)</li>\n <li>Valid state medical license as MD or DO</li>\n <li>Valid DEA certificate</li>\n <li>2 years’ experience working full-time as an orthopedic surgeon</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary: $320,000-$350,000</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</strong></em></p>",
