font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">ABOUT YOU<br></span></span><span style=\"color: #0d0d0d; font-size: 15px\">You are a seasoned Senior Project Development Manager or Project Development Manager with a solid track record of 5 to 15 years in the fields of pre-construction, construction, and educational facilities design, planning, and construction management.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Assists the Client’s Facilities Asset Development Director in the development of project scope and coordination of architectural planning, design, funding, and development of school facilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Plans and coordinates the execution of pre-construction activities associated with the preparation for the building of schools and modernization projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Provides functional direction over pre-construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, and quality control.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Reviews pre-construction project status to monitor schedule and budget variances relative to submitted schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Assists in coordinating the pre-construction program activities and related work products of other Client branches and departments such as the Environmental Health and Safety, Real Estate, Community Outreach, School Management Services/Master Planning and Demographics, Maintenance and Operations, Project Execution, Contracts and Procurement.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Resolves pre-construction project issues by resolving conflicts in </span>schedules, and disagreements over the most efficient approach to the plan and design of new schools.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Reviews, recommends, and implements program and project level policy and procedural </span>Innovations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Coordinates with representatives from various utility and government agencies to obtain timely action on successive phases of project completion.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Assesses bid specifications for District need and probability of completion within the specified Timeline.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Makes presentations to Board Members, District administrators, and representatives of public Agencies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal management of multiple design and construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\">Performs other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #211d1e; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Fifteen (15) years of full time paid professional experience managing the facilities design, or the planning and coordination of capital projects that includes the overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Five (5) years of experience with educational facilities design, planning and construction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience with LEED and/or Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Experience with construction management.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">You must have one of the following:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Additional courses in Business Administration, Public Relations, Accounting, School Finance, Personnel Management, Educational Facilities Planning, and Communication are preferable.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">PREFERRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California State Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">LEED Professional Accreditation.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Citadel is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
