The ideal candidate will have experience operating loaders and be capable of moving materials efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety in a fast-paced outdoor environment.<strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate front-end loaders to move, load, and distribute materials on construction sites</li>\n <li>May operate additional equipment such as:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Excavators</li>\n   <li>Backhoes</li>\n   <li>Dozers</li>\n   <li>Graders</li>\n   <li>Skid steers</li>\n   <li>Rollers</li>\n   <li>Forklifts or other site-specific machinery</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Perform tasks including loading trucks, stockpiling materials, backfilling, grading, and site cleanup</li>\n <li>Handle materials such as dirt, gravel, aggregates, asphalt, and debris</li>\n <li>Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues</li>\n <li>Follow site plans, grade stakes, and/or supervisor instructions to perform work accurately</li>\n <li>Work closely with ground crews, truck drivers, and supervisors to complete jobs accurately and safely</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of surroundings to avoid damage to utilities, structures, or personnel</li>\n <li>Assist with manual labor and other site tasks when equipment operation is not required</li>\n <li>Comply with all safety regulations, traffic control guidelines, and equipment operating procedures</li>\n <li>Keep equipment clean and perform basic preventative maintenance</li>\n <li>Maintain safety and awareness around moving equipment, traffic, and hot materials</li>\n <li>Clean and maintain tools and equipment at the end of each shift</li>\n <li>Perform other labor-related tasks as assigned by supervisors</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum OSHA 10 certification required</li>\n <li><p>2-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil or road construction, preferred.</p></li>\n <li>Valid driver's license required; CDL and equipment certifications preferred.</li>\n <li><p>Ability to read basic site plans and understand construction layouts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of loader operation, load limits, and safe material handling practices.</p></li>\n <li>Maintain safe and secure work environment by complying with government standards and legal regulations. Practice good safety habits.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, and techniques.</li>\n <li>Follow instructions and meet set standards.</li>\n <li>Judge distances and slopes accurately.</li>\n <li>Communicate with supervisors, peers, and/or subordinates.</li>\n <li>Make decisions based on verifiable standards.</li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Demands:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position requires physically demanding work in field conditions.</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Possess physical strength to operate heavy and power-driven equipment.</li>\n <li>Coordinate the use of eyes, hands, arms, and legs fully.
