    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\">The Licensed Therapist provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health services to children, families, and individuals within non-specialty mental health settings. Conducts screenings, assessments, and brief interventions for mild to moderate behavioral health concerns. Develops and implements client-centered treatment plans, supports early intervention and prevention efforts, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.&nbsp;</p><p>Our agency provides employees with a positive work environment and the ability to balance work &amp; home along with excellent benefits. Position will work in the Santa Maria area.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong><em>Other duties may be assigned</em>.</p><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, strengths, and clinical goals.</li><li>Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices.</li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as necessary.</li><li>Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments, including safety planning when appropriate.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, medical providers, and school personnel.</li><li>Engage and support families/caregivers in the therapeutic process.</li><li>Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.</li><li>Completes required documentation, maintains client charts, and adheres to Medi-Cal/CenCal, HIPAA, and contractual regulations.</li><li>Provides referrals and coordinates care with external providers and community resources.</li><li>Maintain productivity standards and meet service delivery expectations.</li><li>Has strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster respect, teamwork, trust, clarity, and collaboration with the client, their family, caseworkers, other practitioners/supervisors, program managers, and CommUnify administrative staff.</li><li>Maintains strict communication boundaries and maintains the confidentiality of client, family, and staff information.</li><li>Organizes schedule, prioritizes responsibilities, and manages time effectively to complete assessments, treatment plans, client/family therapy sessions, progress notes, and administrative duties.</li><li>Works cooperatively within the agency structure, interpreting, reviewing, and adapting agency policies/procedures to improve the administration and programming of Behavioral Health Services.</li><li>Completes monthly reports to the Behavioral Health Services Director and Clinical Analyst for Children Services.</li></ol><p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skill &amp; Ability:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:&nbsp;</strong>MA or MS in a behavioral science field in psychology, clinical psychology, or social work. Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience providing therapy services. Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. Has strong observation, assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic skills; is eager to learn and is open/accepting of feedback for personal and professional growth. Experience with Medi-Cal or public behavioral health systems.</p><p><strong>Language Skills:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.</p><p><strong>Computer Skills:&nbsp;</strong>To perform this position successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.</p><p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:&nbsp;</strong>Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California. Valid California Driver&#39;s License with the ability to qualify for coverage under the Agency insurance plan.</p><p><strong>Other Skills and Abilities:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to speak Spanish is required. Working experience with young children, adolescents, and families.</p><p><strong>Other Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong>Some out-of-office travel required, routine travel within the region, and between facilities. Also requires knowledge of HIPAA and Medi-Cal compliance requirements. Provide verification of State-required vaccines upon hire for: Influenza (from August 1 to December 1), Pertussis, and Measles.
