Benefits begin the month following the hire date.</p><p><strong>Shift:</strong></p><p>7:45am - 8:00pm: MT/FS, S/WT</p><p><strong>Salary:&#xa0; </strong></p><p>The hourly wage for this position is $23.68</p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>The General Utility Associate helps the facility in several ways.&#xa0; They work with production to ensure production lines have materials, completes paperwork, maintain housekeeping, and can assist with quality checks so the team operates smoothly and safely. This position also helps ensure shipments are staged, loaded, and labeled correctly to ensure that the correct product goes out on time every shift. &#xa0;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with plant staff to provide a safe work environment.</li><li>Uses hand tools or simple machines in production.</li><li>Responsible for starting and operating production line.</li><li>Empty production line into pallets for WIP or finished goods.</li><li>Helps maintain and count inventory of production, parts and materials.</li><li>Completes shift paperwork accurately and timely.</li><li>Prepare pallet with proper label and paperwork for storage or shipment to customer.</li><li>Use proper packaging materials based on product type and shipping method.</li><li>Responsible for building pallets to keep up with product output. &#xa0;</li><li>Periodically inspect for quality issues.&#xa0; May be done visually or with tools.</li><li>Report safety and quality issues, along with any maintenance needs to supervisor&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Keep the work area clean using 6S process.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>",
