Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Position title:</strong> Healthcare Data Analyst</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job summary</strong>: Essen Health Care is seeking a <strong>junior-level Analyst</strong> with a solid foundation in data to support the Operations Manager within the Cardio Vascular Division. This on-site role is well-suited for a candidate in the early stages of their career who is comfortable with data analysis and visualization and motivated to contribute to operational performance and data-informed decision-making in a healthcare setting.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Data Collection & Management</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collect, clean, validate, and organize operational data from internal systems. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across datasets and reports. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain structured datasets to support recurring and ad-hoc analysis. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Analysis & Reporting</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports to support operational tracking and planning. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support KPI monitoring and performance analysis under the guidance of the Operations Manager. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Visualization & Insights</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using <strong>Power BI</strong>. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Present data findings in a clear and structured manner. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Translate data into meaningful insights that support operational and business decisions. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Operations & Team Support</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with the Operations Manager on day-to-day analytical tasks and projects. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to understand data needs and definitions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Respond to data and reporting requests accurately and within established timelines. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Operations, or a related field. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Strong foundational understanding of data concepts</strong>, including data structures, data quality, and basic data modeling. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong> (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of <strong>SQL</strong> for querying and extracting data. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience using <strong>Power BI</strong> (academic, internship, or project-based experience acceptable). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>High attention to detail and accuracy. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to clearly explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Must be based in New York and able to work on-site full time.</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Authorized to work in the United States. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Internship, academic project, or early professional experience involving data analysis or reporting. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Exposure to healthcare, operations, or performance analytics. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with KPIs and basic reporting frameworks.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Entry-level opportunity with hands-on exposure to real-world operational analytics </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Close mentorship from operations leadership </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>On-site, collaborative work environment within the CV Division </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation and benefits package </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Growth and learning opportunities in healthcare analytics </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></p>",
