We aim to revolutionize the use of robotics within industry to free human resources from labor-intensive tasks to focus on more intellectual challenges.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a Sr. Backend Developer – Cloud Automation to join our team. The USA is a Senior Backend Developer – Cloud Automation, you will design and implement scalable cloud services that are integrated with advanced robotics systems. You will architect distributed solutions, optimize performance for real-time robotic operations, and ensure secure, reliable connectivity between cloud and edge devices. This role is ideal for developers passionate about cloud technologies and robotics innovation.</p>\n<p>                                                                                                                                                                                                               </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Description: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and develop cloud-native applications in Go, Python, and C++; drive language selection based on performance and operational requirements</li>\n<li>Architect microservices-based systems and implement robust APIs (REST/gRPC) for high-volume, low-latency data exchange with robotic controllers</li>\n<li>Own the networking layer between cloud services, on-prem controllers, and edge devices — including VPN tunneling, NAT traversal, firewall rules, iptables, and routing</li>\n<li>Build and maintain secure communication channels: TLS/mTLS pipelines, certificate lifecycle management, DNS configuration, and SSH tunneling</li>\n<li>Design and implement real-time data paths over WebSocket, WebRTC, HTTP/2, QUIC, and WireGuard</li>\n<li>Own PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, index tuning, and deep performance profiling; understand internals including MVCC, WAL, the query planner, and vacuum behavior</li>\n<li>Build solutions for telemetry ingestion, storage, and processing from distributed robotic fleets</li>\n<li>Leverage AWS, GCP, and Azure services — including serverless, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) as well as self-hosted bare-metal environments</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and champion DevOps best practices across the engineering org</li>\n<li>Mentor junior developers and set the bar for code quality, system design, and documentation standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements:</span></p>\n<p>Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional software development experience in cloud or systems environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) Or combination of Go, python and C/C++ (Must have recent experience with Golang or Python)</li>\n<li>Strong foundation in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design (GraphQL/RESTful/gRPC)</li>\n<li>Comfortable reading protocol specs, packet captures, and source code to diagnose deep issues</li>\n<li>Comfortable handling sensitive/confidential information with discretion and strong judgment.</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and to global stakeholders across time zones.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s degree in relevant field</li>\n<li>Experience with real-time data streaming, IoT integration, or edge device connectivity</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of ROS/ROS2 and robotic system communication protocols</li>\n<li>Familiarity with eBPF, kernel networking internals, or SDN/service meshes</li>\n<li>Prior work on embedded or real-time systems (industrial controllers, warehouse robotics)</li>\n<li>Experience operating in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud + on-prem environments</li>\n<li>Contributions to open-source networking, database, or systems projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands/ Work Environment:  </span></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel Requirement: Less than 5%.</li>\n<li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li>\n<li>Ability to work extended hours as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Great Company!
