    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates is adding to the team and in search of a Full Time Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist in Katy, TX. This position will accommodate the new PET suite located at our Memorial City office location.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test result</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administers doses, under direction of Physician</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET studies on patients as prescribed by physician, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintains quality control of all equipment</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Safeguard the privacy of patient health information</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Attends required meetings</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs related work as required</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong><br></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Requirements</strong><br></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">2 years of experience is preferred in Spect and PET</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">BLS/CPR Certification</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Schedule Details</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Full-time, employee status with benefits package</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">4 -10-hour shifts with a rotation on Saturdays</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>About Katy, TX:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The City of Katy is the hub of three counties - Harris, Waller and Fort Bend - and is located just 30 miles west of the bustling city of Houston.
