    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hunt Electric, Inc</span> is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">High Voltage</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apprentice Lineman position </span>in our Transmission and Distribution Division.  The qualified candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission, distribution, and substation systems. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GROUNDSMAN POSITION. IF YOU ARE NOT ENROLLED/ATTENDED A CERTIFIED LINEMAN APPRENTICESHIP SCHOOL,  WITH  3 to 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE , PLEASE WAIT TO APPLY UNTIL A GROUNDSMAN POSITION OPENS UP. YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED. </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work productively in a team atmosphere.</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret electrical plans and prints, stand for extended periods of time, use both hands, arms, and legs, stoop and bend, and lift 100 pounds.</li>\n<li>Attend IPSA Apprentice Schooling, track and turn in monthly on the job and Schooling Hours</li>\n<li>Demonstrate skill in pole and tower climbing, URD installations, using hotline tools and working in aerial devices.</li>\n<li>Provide effective and meaningful on-the-job training of apprentices and other crew members in maintenance and construction of power lines.</li>\n<li>Able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit, familiarity with induced voltage, and understanding of proper grounding procedures.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate the knowledge of operating equipment safely and maintaining company equipment and tools in good working order.</li>\n<li>Capable of performing work in a safe, timely and efficient manner.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate skill troubleshooting trouble in primary and secondary systems.</li>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours. </li>\n<li>Experience effectively conducting a pre-job or tailboard briefing.</li>\n<li>Other duties and locations as assigned by manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>You must be 21 years or older to drive with your CDL over state lines. </li>\n<li>Enrolled/Attended a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program (copy of certificated required).</li>\n<li>Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class “A”) with ability to meet all DOT requirements.</li>\n<li>Must be CPR and First Aid certified or possess the ability to obtain such certification within 90 days of employment.</li>\n<li>Must be willing to Travel for extended periods of time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This full-time <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">High Voltage Apprentice Lineman</span> position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities.
