Above all else, the Parts counter person is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and delivery of product knowledge.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><p>· Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.</p><p>· Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.</p><p>· Provide high level of service to internal and external customers.</p><p>· Pulls and fills orders from stock.</p><p>· Informs Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts and shop materials that need immediate attention.</p><p>· Notifies service advisors and customers when special order parts have arrived.</p><p>· Follows up on back order parts.</p><p>· Cooperate with all other dealership managers to work toward the overall dealership vision.</p><p>· Help promote positive employee morale.</p><p>· Report to management any circumstances that compromise the integrity of the dealership..</p><p>· Ensure that customer inconveniences, complaints and misunderstandings are proactively addressed quickly and fairly.</p><p>· Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as</p><p>hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.</p><p>· Understand the manufacturer's warranty policy and procedure.</p><p><br></p>",
