Our patients want to be involved in their healthcare decisions; they want to feel respected. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you strive to deliver this level of care every day, you may be a perfect fit in our healthcare community as a <strong>General Surgeon </strong>at <strong>Legacy Silverton Medical Center.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides a full range of general surgical care to patients of Legacy Health System. Such care is provided in an office, outpatient, or inpatient setting and includes the full and expected mix of patient problems and surgical approaches.</li>\n <li> Provides “non-trauma” coverage on an “on-call” capacity for Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital.</li>\n <li> Provides office follow up of general surgery patients.</li>\n <li> Provides consultation on general surgical issues.</li>\n <li> Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice.</li>\n <li> Participates on relevant committees as requested.</li>\n <li> Participates in community outreach activities regarding Legacy’s general surgery services.</li>\n <li> Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion.</li>\n <li> Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly/geriatric patients.</li>\n <li> Works with other specialists to develop a comprehensive Legacy surgical services program.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Completion of general surgery residency.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical License for the applicable state.</li>\n <li>Membership on LPH Medical Staff.</li>\n <li>Board Certified or board eligible in general surgery </li>\n <li>ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.</li>\n <li>ATLS preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Sorry, no J1 or H-1B visa opportunities.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>For additional information please formally apply or contact Forrest Brown at </strong><strong>[email protected]</strong></p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $0.00 - USD $0.00 /Hr.\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
