Description
Responsible for providing a broad range of complex clerical and administrative support to a manager or department.
Description of Primary Responsibilities:
1) Provides complex clerical support
2) Answers the phone and greets visitors
3) Provides high-level administrative support
4) Provides financial/accounting support for the office
5) Provides assistance to Corporate Support on local items
General Development:
1) Possesses more advanced organizational skills, to organize own work and provide support to others.
2) Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3) Is able to effectively select from alternatives to situations encountered on the job.
4) Considers the impact of work product on other employees in the work process.
Professional & Technical Knowledge:
1) Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computational and computer skills
and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program.
2) Possesses knowledge and training in the field of office administration, at the equivalent of an
Associate’s degree or trade school program in business administration.
3) Possesses familiarity with the processes and operations performed by the office/department,
sufficient to understand the importance of various forms, schedules, documents and administrative
processes
Technical Skills:
1) Has the ability to prepare complex correspondence and reports in Microsoft Word.
2) Has the ability to use Microsoft Excel to create tables and displays of information.
3) Has the ability to create basic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
4) Proficient in the use of accounting and administrative software or database programs used in the
office/department
Communications Skills:
1) Effectively communicates basic information to co-workers and others.
2) Exercises tact and diplomacy in the resolution of mild conflicts or disagreements.
3) Effectively communicates information in written (including electronic) correspondence.
Pay Range: $25.16 - $29.68 per hour
An annual incentive bonus with an earning potential of 10% of base pay.
