Position to start Sept 1st.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br/>https://www.inova.org/locations/inova-cardiac-and-pulmonary-rehabilitation-inova-loudoun-hospital</p>\n<p><i>Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.</i>&nbsp;<i>We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.&nbsp;</i><br/>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Exercise Physiologist Job Responsibilities:</strong><br/>&nbsp;</p>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;text-decoration-color:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-thickness:initial;\">\n <div style=\"box-sizing:border-box;margin-right:0px;\">\n  <div>\n   <div style=\"box-sizing:border-box;margin-right:0px;\">\n    <div style=\"border-style:none;box-sizing:border-box;padding:0px 5px;\">\n     <div>\n      <ul>\n       <li>Develops exercise prescription and risk factor modification by incorporating comorbidity and musculoskeletal disorders, per established program (ACCVPR, ACSM, ATS, ACC, NASM) standards and guidelines, as evidenced by random chart review.</li>\n       <li>Reviews Individual Treatment Plans.</li>\n       <li>Develops exercise and strength training programs, patient education and behavioral health support specific to each patient to achieve optimal outcomes for each patient.</li>\n       <li>Demonstrates proper instruction and technique for performing appropriate exercise and strength training as needed to ensure patient safety and adherence to exercise prescription, as evidenced by direct observation.</li>\n       <li>Immediately reports significant changes in patient clinical status to appropriate members of healthcare team and assists with emergency care according to department policy, as evidenced by direct observation.</li>\n       <li>Supports additional projects and duties as assigned.</li>\n      </ul>\n     </div>\n     <p><br/><br/><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n     <p><br/>Bachelor’s Degree Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or Kinesiology.<br/><br/>BLS within 6 months of start date. Must be from the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION.</p>\n     <p>American College of Sports Medicine - Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM CEP) required upon start for Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab Programs. Or Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (AACVPR CCRP)&nbsp;</p>\n     <p>Patient focused approach to patient well-being and recovery</p>\n     <p>Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative innovative environment</p>\n     <p>&nbsp;</p>\n     <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n     <ul>\n      <li>Experience as an Excise Physiologist in a Hospital Setting</li>\n      <li>Internship experience in a Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab setting</li>\n     </ul>\n    </div>\n   </div>\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>",
