    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">POSITION DESCRIPTION</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The Controls Electrician is responsible for installing controls electrical components in Building Automation Systems (BAS). As the primary electrician on projects, they regularly read and understand control prints and know how to execute work without guidance. This position requires experience in laying out entire job wiring from networks to device wiring, and they collaborate regularly with team members and subcontractors.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Understand devices and how to wire different manufacturers and types of controllers.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams as well as read and interpret equipment submittals.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Advanced electrical knowledge and ability to work on high- and low-voltage equipment.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Able to do the following:</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Understand how to terminate valves and other devices.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">•Assess, troubleshoot, and fix electrical problems.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Complete wiring and setup of VFDs.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Successfully set up and research complex control devices.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC-related electrical motors.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Test motors for amperage and voltage.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Install, repair, and maintain temperature control devices.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Conduct tests on existing installations and electrical components to determine faults and make necessary repairs.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\">BASIC REQUIREMENTS</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• High school diploma or equivalent required.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">• Five (5) years’ experience in the electrical field.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI’s in the previous 5 years</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability and willingness to work overtime, including holidays and weekends if needed</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to follow safety guidelines, including working with heights and in tight working conditions.
