Start your journey with Raley's by submitting your resume for future consideration.</strong></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>\n<p>Dispensing medical prescriptions, Bashas’ pharmacists are highly trained and skilled healthcare professionals who help ensure optimal health outcomes for our pharmacy customers.</p>\n<p><br>\n  &nbsp;<br><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Managing pharmacy operations, hiring and supervising staff, performing administrative duties, and buying and selling non-pharmaceutical merchandise.</li>\n <li>Assuring customer satisfaction by providing a helpful, professional and courteous attitude at the pharmacy window and on the phone.</li>\n <li>Complying with all applicable federal and state laws and the rules and regulations of the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Providing accurate and efficient prescription service, reviewing prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients and to evaluate their suitability.</li>\n <li>Providing information and advice regarding drug interactions, side-effects, dosage and proper medication.</li>\n <li>Providing information and advice concerning the use and purchase of over-counter medications and healthy food products.</li>\n <li>Ringing sales on the register and complete sales transactions of cash, credit or debit.</li>\n <li>Monitoring patient compliance to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.</li>\n <li>Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies and drugs and storing it properly.</li>\n <li>Maintaining records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records for and registries for poisons, narcotics and controlled drugs.</li>\n <li>Providing specialized services to help patients manage conditions such as diabetes, asthma, smoking cessation or high blood pressure.</li>\n <li>Collaborating with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications and characteristics.</li>\n <li>Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists, by calculating, weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients, or oversee these activities.</li>\n <li>Offering health promotion and prevention activities, for example, explaining nutritional benefits of various food items and training people to use devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors.</li>\n <li>Refer patients to other health professionals when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal. &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Performs other duties as needed or assigned by management.&nbsp;Must be at least 16-years old.<br><br>\n  Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time;<br>\n  This description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions; it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned;<br>\n  This job description is subject to change at any time<br><br>\n  Employer provides reasonable accommodations to a qualified employee that does not impose an undue hardship on the employer.</p>\n<p><strong>Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Arizona</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
