Quality Counts (QC) is hiring a Traffic Field Technician who needs <strong>part-time hours</strong>, prefers to work outside, and takes pride in making a material difference in your local communities.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Traffic Field Technician-Transportation - Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Drive across the Dallas-Fort Worth and neighboring cities installing traffic data collection equipment.</li><li>Perform moderate physical labor (installing video detection cameras and pneumatic road tubes).</li><li>Occasionally, join your teammates in nearby communities conducting traffic surveys and parking lot studies.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Traffic Field Technician-Transportation - Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree or equivalent combination of formal military/trade education and at least&nbsp;two&nbsp;years of hands-on professional experience.</li><li>Previous experience in labor-focused role(s)</li><li>Familiarity with project-based work and/or a background in skilled trades/ labor-driven industries is a plus</li><li>Prefers working outside</li><li>Self-motivated, can work independently, takes initiative&nbsp;and quick to troubleshoot</li><li>Doesn&rsquo;t skip the details</li><li>Can lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders (~15 feet), and safely operate power tools</li><li>Comfortable with 10-15 hours a week during slow seasons and 30+ (overtime) hours a week during busier seasons</li><li>Can commit to little-off in May and October</li><li>Lives within 15 miles of The Colony, TX&nbsp;(job requires daily start at office-warehouse)</li></ul><p><strong>Traffic Field Technician-Transportation - Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>40 hours of annual Volunteer Time Off (VTO)</li><li>40 hours (5-day equivalent) of annual part-time/sick pay</li><li>Opportunities for overtime</li><li>Hands-on training</li><li>Company vehicle provided for travel to-and-from work sites</li><li>401K with Employer Contribution (effective one year after employment)</li><li>Opportunities for local and nationwide travel</li><li>Witness immediate impact!
